Heroin

What is it:
Heroin is an illegal drug and it is a painkiller. It is highly addictive and the body gets used to it very quickly and one will need more and more to avoid serious withdrawal symptoms. Users say it gives a feeling of warmth and contentment, but first time use will probably make the person sick and dizzy.
Effects:
Taking heroin can cause unconsciousness and lead to a coma or death, especially if taken with alcohol. It can cause tiredness, sweating and muscle cramps, make one unable to sleep and lose appetite. The method of taking this drug may lead to blood infections, abscesses, hepatitis and HIV/AIDS.
Drug suppliers may mix heroin with other substances, so users may not know what they are taking with it.
