PSALM 42 V1-2
“As the dear pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?”
Prayer is vital to our relationship with God. Praying is the easiest and most personal thing in the world, yet some of us struggle with it.
We all need food and water to grow and exist! Just like our trees and plants!
In terms of our food, we all need time with God each day, to talk to him and learn and feed from his word. We also need to meet with other Christians and worship weekly!
Our water is the nourishment received from reading the God’s word and insisting that it becomes part of our daily lives.
At the beginning of familiar routines after the summer let’s take time out every day of our busy lives to be on our own with God. Turn off the computer, tv, ipod, mobile phone or what ever else we have and spend the time we do on the above with God instead!!
