Why do we need to support the outreach of our own organisation as a missionary project?  In recent years there have been opportunities to promote Christian Endeavour in Northern Ireland and a number of new societies have begun meeting and children and young people are being trained in the service of Christ and his Church.  However as an Irish CE Union we need to take the opportunities presented to promote CE to the growing Church in the Republic of Ireland where CE is virtually unknown. 

We need your support in a number of areas.

1 Prayer is needed

 We would ask you to pray

• That the benefits of a CE society will be presented clearly and enthusiastically to churches and leaders
• That church leaders will prayerfully consider the information they receive
• That we will have the personnel to follow up requests for information, help and advice
• That in the near future new societies will begin in the Republic of Ireland and as a result the Church of Christ will be built up.

 

2 Finance is needed

• Irish CE does not have a large financial reserve. At the moment annual expenditure exceeds income and in order to promote CE it is essential to have a stock of literature such as CE guides and flyers to give out.
• Travelling to venues in the Republic will also be an additional expense so finance will be needed to cover travel costs.

 

3 People are needed

• Would you be willing to speak to groups about CE?
• Could you help a new CE as it starts up?
• Would you be able to help man a stand at an exhibition?
